Anthem of the Seas - you're singing my kind of tune!
It's not very often that a ship comes along and takes your breath away, I mean completely and utterly, a ship so cleverly built and surprisingly so well thought out, and that's without even mentioning the most technically advanced - in every way!
A ship that although longer than 5 Boeing 747 jet liners, actually feels like a much smaller ship with her clever design - no long corridors or vast spaces here - you can still find a little nook to get away from it all or even better relax in the haven of the Solarium with cascading lagoons and indoor pool.
I could tell you about the most incredible facilities - from a sky-diving simulator, or the breathtaking views from the amazing North Star hovering 300 feet above sea level, or my favourite - dodgems in the SeaPlex!!
Then there's the robotic Bionic Bar and the spectacular shows in the ground-breaking venue Two70. The cabins, all beautifully furnished, from the very cleverly designed Inside Staterooms (with virtual 'real time' balconies) through to the spectacular Royal Loft Suite (I don't think I would ever leave the cabin). The Family Connected cabins are again another brilliant design offering groups of either family or friends the chance to sail together in their own connected cabins.
Ultimately any ship is only as good as it's crew and Anthem delivers on every level!
Even though I've experienced all of this first hand it's so incredibly hard to put any of this into any kind of understandable context until you've actually experienced it, so my advice whether you are an avid cruiser, first timer or family group - infact anyone and everyone should experience this ship - she is ground breaking in every way but more than that she is stunning ship with a big heart (just look at the Pulse Spiral) and you will know what I mean!
