Valiant Lady will join the Virgin Voyages fleet in May 2021. Like her older sister Scarlet Lady, which will have entered service in April 2020, Valiant Lady will be ‘adult only’ and carry up to 2,770 passengers. You can watch the video below, which I produced when I visited Scarlet Lady mid-construction, in the shipyard in Genoa. It contains some renderings to show what the finished ship will look like. For her first season, the summer of 2021, Valiant Lady will be based in the beautiful city of Barcelona. She will offer three different 7 nights itineraries, departing on a Sunday, and they will all include late port stays and an overnight stay on Friday in the Party Island of Ibiza. I don’t have the dates and information yet, but basic details of the itineraries, not necessarily in the right order, are as follows: –

• Barcelona, Ibiza, Monte Carlo, Marseille and Olbia
• Barcelona, Ibiza, Toulon, Ajaccio, Marina di Carrara and Cagliari
Barcelona, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga and Gibraltar

A cruise on Valiant Lady or Scarlet Lady will be different to other cruises you may have been on, and I have listed below just a few of the main points of difference with Virgin Voyages.

• There is no set dining, and no large buffet – just 20+ dining venues with food prepared to order, with no supplements to pay
• These ships are adult only
• There are no gratuities to pay
• Wi-Fi is complimentary for browsing and social media etc
