GoCruise & Travel franchisee Zoe Coope has shared her top tips for making high-value cruise bookings after securing a Cunard world cruise sale worth around £40,000.

Coope and her husband Martyn booked a couple on a 109-night world cruise onboard Cunard’s Queen Victoria departing in 2027 after posting on Facebook about their time at sea.
Coope and her husband were among a group of top-performing GoCruise & Travel agents invited by the agency on Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 ship for a four-day round-trip sailing from Southampton to Hamburg in May.
Both Cunard and GoCruise & Travel shared business updates with the franchisees invited on the trip.
Coope said the sailing was an opportunity to mix with other GoCruise & Travel franchisees as well as Cunard’s sales staff.
The Mansfield-based agent said that soon after coming back she was contacted by a couple of new customers, asking her to book the 109-night world cruise.

“They were a couple who had been referred to us by an existing customer a week prior, when they booked another cruise holiday,” she explained.
Coope, who has been running her homeworking business with her husband Martyn for 16 years, told TTG agents should try and "go that extra mile" when making big bookings as these types of holidays are “a big event in someone’s life”.
“It’s important to take into consideration the smaller details such as the choice of stateroom and really go that extra mile,” she said.
"A world cruise is not something customers take lightly, so being friendly and having a professional approach is a must when you’re booking these unforgettable holiday cruises.”
The Coopes weren’t the only ones to make the most of the four-day Cunard sailing as another franchisee, Jane Chadwick, switch-sold a client to Cunard after being very impressed with the line’s service.
“It was a pleasure to co-host with our friends at Cunard and to experience the timeless elegance of Queen Mary 2 as well as Cunard’s legendary White Star service,” said GoCruise & Travel head of franchise Colin Martin-Weekes.
“These experiences truly create a sense of community and friendship, and it was wonderful to see our franchisees connecting, sharing their business journey and helping each other succeed with their business.”
