It's exciting to see the changes in the Industry over the years- from the small very traditional ships to the very innovative. I couldn't have imagined some of the venues on the ships of today- from Ice Rinks and Race tracks to Ice Bars and Moving Dining venues overlooking the sparkling sea! There is certainly something for everyone.
It's important to know your passengers to discern exactly what they will best enjoy.
My favourite cruise ship..
It is only fair to say that as a Cruise Agent, I have many favourites! I do have to spread my loyalty around and experience different Cruise Lines and Ships. It is not a 'one ship fits all and it is much more difficult to sell what you haven't experienced first hand.
I personally tend to like the traditional ships with good food and tasteful ambience - with plenty of relaxation!
But when travelling with family it's nice to have all the exciting activities and experiences on board.
Next on my wish list is...
I have seen a good part of the world by ship but would still like to experience more of South America and Machu Picchu.
