I’ve been cruising for over 30 years and still feel the same excitement about planning the next trip as I did before my very first voyage. Whether you’re considering your first cruise or you’re a seasoned traveller looking for something new, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. From our first conversation through to when you return home, I personally look after you and your booking. I’m always just a phone call or email away to answer questions, help with the finer details, and make the whole experience smooth, enjoyable and stress-free so you can focus on your holiday.
Over the years, I’ve sailed with a wide range of cruise lines including Saga, Fred. Olsen, P&O Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Riviera Travel, NCL, MSC Cruises and Royal Caribbean. Cunard has always stood out for me, with its heritage and elegance, exceptional service, refined dining and timeless atmosphere making every voyage feel truly special. That said, I genuinely believe there is a cruise line for everyone. Whether you’re looking for something relaxed and informal, ultra-luxurious, family-friendly or destination-focused, the right ship can make all the difference. Having experienced so many options first-hand, I’m able to match you to the cruise line that best suits your needs, preferences and expectations.
My travels have taken me across the Caribbean, Hawaii, the South Pacific, Canada, Europe, the Mediterranean, Scandinavia and around the British Isles. The Caribbean remains a firm favourite. Each island has its own personality, the people are warm and welcoming, and you can return time and again without ever feeling like you’ve seen it all. I also love the history and culture of the Mediterranean, and the striking natural beauty of Scandinavia and Canada, which offer a completely different and equally rewarding cruising experience.
I’m delighted that my son Paul has now joined the business, creating a true family team and bringing a fresh perspective for our clients.
Paul has been cruising extensively since 2011 with his wife and daughter, from when she was just four years old through to her late teens. He has sailed with P&O Cruises, Princess Cruises, Carnival Cruises, Cunard, Royal Caribbean and MSC Cruises, and brings valuable insight into modern, resort-style ships, with particular interest in family cruising. He also has significant personal experience in creating tailor-made cruise and land-based holidays for his family, especially across the Mediterranean, Florida and California, which allows him to design well-balanced and memorable itineraries.
Paul has experienced a wide variety of ships, each offering something different. Carnival Mardi Gras stands out for its relaxed atmosphere, Southern US and Cuban-inspired vibe, excellent cocktails and standout casual dining, including what he says are the best burgers at sea. MSC Cruises’ Seaside-class ships are favourites for their striking design and Italian flair, combined with great food, wine and coffee, and some of the best pizza you’ll find anywhere. Closer to home, P&O Cruises’ Arvia (and sister ship Iona) offer a fantastic all-round experience, with excellent dining, entertainment and the added ease and convenience of sailing from Southampton for those who prefer not to fly.
Paul has cruised widely across the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Mexico, Northern Europe and the Canary Islands, and has built up a long list of favourite destinations. Italy is a standout, from the dramatic beauty of Sicily, including Taormina and Mount Etna, to the incredible history of Pompeii and Herculaneum and the stunning coastline around Sorrento from Naples. In the Caribbean, his highlights include the Dominican Republic, with memorable experiences such as horse riding in the sea and along beautiful beaches, as well as relaxing at all-inclusive private beach clubs. Dunn’s River Falls in Jamaica was another unforgettable (and very wet) adventure for him and his family. Paul also loves Bruges for its beer, waffles, frites and mayo, and chocolate, and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for its spectacular scenery, marine life and wide range of water-based activities.
We both genuinely believe there’s a cruise for everybody, and we take the time to understand exactly what you’re looking for. Whether you already have a clear idea or need help deciding, we’ll guide you towards the best options while always keeping your original thoughts in mind.
Paul particularly enjoys working with first-time cruisers and families. He still remembers the sense of awe when boarding his first ship and discovering everything these floating resorts have to offer, and he’s passionate about helping others experience that same feeling.
If you’re looking to explore the world, we’ll help you choose the right ship, itinerary and stateroom, while ensuring you receive the best possible value. We also act as your direct link to the cruise line, so if you ever need assistance or have questions, we’re here for you. Together, we combine decades of experience with a genuine love of cruising.
Whether it’s your first voyage or your next adventure, we’ll help you find the perfect holiday – and hopefully make it the first of many!
We had always wanted to do a road trip of Britain, but Carole suggested a British Isles Cruise. I didn’t even know that you could cruise around Britain. So we decided to go ahead. We loved it from the moment we got on the ship to the sad goodbyes to both cruise staff and fellow passengers. To say we had a ball was an understatement.
Staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The food was amazing. The cabin was spacious and comfortable. The port stops were interesting and we thoroughly enjoyed visiting so much of our country along with a few European stops as well. Would I cruise again? Yes definitely. Thank you Carole for all your help and advice in making this cruise so enjoyable.
GoCruise booked our special honeymoon holiday on the 1st of February 2015 to the Caribbean. My husband and I received great service from GoCruise consultant Carole Sandler, nothing was too much trouble and Carole was very quick and knowledgeable about any concerns we had. I would highly recommend this travel company for cruises and will be returning to them for future holidays.
