I have been cruising since the early 1980s, starting on converted classic liners like the Transvaal Castle and Empress Of Britain - being steamships there was always a layer of soot on the sunloungers! I was then often the youngest on board - sometimes by about 40 years!
Any cruise lines I have not cruised with, I always make a point of going on board for agent days when ships are in a UK port. This allows me to me knowledgeable about every ship out there.
