My favourite cruise ship..
I cannot possible name one favourite cruise ship, destination, or experience, but I can tell you:
- I favour small ships over large ships.
- I appreciate space, quality, inclusivity and value for money.
- I recognise that luxury means different things to different people.
- I believe in exploring and discovering new destinations rather than always returning to the same old familiar destinations.
- I realise that some destinations are best explored either on a luxury train journey or an escorted touring holiday.
Next on my wish list is...
Over the next 18 months Wendy and I plan to:
- Fly to Atlanta pick up a car and go exploring the beautiful Smoky Mountains around Ashville, before heading to the coast to revisit three of the finest cities on the east coast - Charleston, Savannah and St Augustine before finishing up spending time relaxing one of the finest upscale beach resorts in North America - Hilton Head Island.
- Fly to Denver before joining an 18 day escorted touring holiday exploring the many awe-inspiring national parks of the mid-west before flying home from Phoenix, and
- Fly to Boston, enjoy this great city before picking up a car and driving down to Cape Cod for a few days exploring the likes of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket before returning to Boston and embarking on a 12 night luxury cruise exploring many of the finest destinations in both New England and Eastern Canada.
